Upcoming URDB Events

Hi all. Sorry for lack of blog activity recently. Things have been busy to say the least here at URDB HQ. We've been working with the phenomenally talented Whitney Hess on site redesign (more on that soon), getting our financials in order as we begin talking to potential investors, and using the masterful assistance of Rob Birdsong to help us edit and post our growing backlog of new records. Beyond that, we're discovering record fans around the world as we prepare to take our World Record Appreciation Society event to the Left Coast and beyond later this year. World Record Appreciation Society #2: Recap

Below is an email I just sent to the 60+ people who attended our first World Record Appreciation Society event of 2009. We had a monstrously fun time, collectively setting 12 universal records in front of a standing room only crowd. Gothamist even showed up and wrote about us. World Record Appreciation Society #2

If you're in New York this Wednesday night, please join us for our first World Record Appreciation Society event of 2009. Marked by a return performance from Todd Lamb, current holder of URDB's most popular record, and an appearance by Jake Bronstein,who currently holds two universal records (here and here), this looks to be a truly memorable night.
