Hi all.
Sorry for lack of blog activity recently. Things have been busy to say the least here at URDB HQ. We've been working with the phenomenally talented
Whitney Hess on site redesign (more on that soon), getting our financials in order as we begin talking to potential investors, and using the masterful assistance of
Rob Birdsong to help us edit and post our growing backlog of new records.
Beyond that, we're discovering record fans around the world as we prepare to take our World Record Appreciation Society event to the Left Coast and beyond later this year. Records have been submitted from Australia, England, Canada and the Netherlands, and we've received nice coverage in
Hungary,
England,
France,
Brazil,
Annapolis and whatever country
this is. All in all, things are going really well.
Wanted to give a quick update on two upcoming events we're hosting in New York and San Francisco. Hope you can join us for one of them (and email me at dan@URDB.org if you want to get on the bill for either). If neither is near you, where should come next? Dan
